COUNSELING STYLE

Jennifer Stefanovski, M.A.

Jennifer is a Masters’ level therapist who obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Miami University in 2010 and Master of Arts in Counseling from Ball State University in 2012. Jennifer has been a practicing therapist in the state of Ohio since 2012 and has worked in diverse clinical settings including community mental health centers, residential treatment, intensive outpatient programming and hospital settings. Jennifer is currently a PhD Student at Ball State University in the Counseling Psychology department and seeking to become a licensed psychologist to provide psychotherapy and assessment services within our community. Jennifer also enjoys baking, spending time with her family, and being outside.
She has provided individual therapy, family and couples therapy, group facilitation and crisis intervention for the treatment of mental health and substance abuse related disorders. Clinical interests include the treatment of anxiety related disorders and/or trauma related symptoms in young adult to adult populations.
Jennifer has experience with populations ranging from early childhood to older adults.

Her clinical practice integrates modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Intervention, Existentialism, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in achieving emotional regulation, resilience, and long-term recovery.
