Andria Johnson, Clinical Mental Health Intern

Andria is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Ball State University while completing her internship at Still Waters. Her background includes private practice experience, crisis intervention through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and advocacy work supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has also participated in anti-racism and inclusion initiatives throughout her time at Ball State. Andria has worked with clients across the lifespan and supports individuals and couples navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions.

Andria’s therapeutic approach is grounded in advocacy and empowerment. She strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel free to express themselves and explore their concerns without judgment. Warm and genuine, she recognizes the powerful role authentic connection can play in the therapeutic process. Her commitment to cultural responsiveness is reflected in the respect she brings to each client’s identity and lived experiences. Outside of her professional life, Andria is a proud cat mom to Luna, Willow, and Hazel. She enjoys traveling and good food, while yoga and crocheting are among her favorite ways to unwind. She also loves thrifting and expressing her creativity through fashion.
