Who we are

Still Waters Professional Counseling is an outpatient private practice that provides professional therapeutic mental health services in Muncie, IN. Still Waters strives to offer a safe and authentic environment for individuals, families, and couples from all walks of life, that seek to experience healing and growth.  

Our desire is to integrate a whole-person approach, considering each individual’s life experiences and specific therapeutic needs. Still Waters’ therapists provide evidenced-based treatments, follow best practices, and utilize trauma-informed care so that clients receive the care and support that they need.

Still Waters Professional Counseling currently has openings for licensed mental health professionals (HSPP, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT).  

  • Full-time & Part-time schedules available

Therapist Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Provide individual, family, couples, or group therapy  
  • Utilize evidenced-based treatment and offer trauma-informed care according to best practices  
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to legal and ethical standards  
  • Complete clinical documentation as required using secure online EHR system  
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance  
  • Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies to manage mental health challenges and process their thoughts and emotions in a healthy manner  

 

Required Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Strong working knowledge of theoretical and clinical practices  
  • Exceptional clinical skills including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and application of therapeutic interventions 
  • Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills  
  • Ability to be relational, adaptable, inclusive, and collaborative when working with a variety of people (both coworkers and clients)

Experience & Qualifications:  

  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university in behavioral health and human services field (e.g., social work, clinical mental health counseling, psychology).  
  • An active and unrestricted license in good standing to practice in the state of Indiana (HSPP, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT), or Associate licensed therapists, will be considered for employment.
