COUNSELING STYLE

Brittany Kiger, LMHC

Brittany is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with clients in outpatient settings. She earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University Kokomo. Brittany works with adolescents, adults, and couples, providing a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing process. Brittany has clinical experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, mood disorders, and women’s issues. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences and negative core beliefs.

Brittany believes therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to each individual. She focuses on meeting clients where they are, building a strong therapeutic relationship, and helping them develop practical tools to move toward their personal goals and greater emotional well-being. Outside of the therapy room, Brittany loves German Shepherds and firmly believes animals can be some of the best natural antidepressants.
