Ellie is a master’s-level therapist and doctoral student who enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan. Ellie earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. She has experience in community mental health and school-based settings, with additional training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Sand Tray Therapy. Ellie works with children as young as age four, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, identity exploration, interpersonal difficulties, and life transitions.
Ellie’s approach is warm, compassionate, and empowering. She seeks to understand each client as a whole person, considering their individual experiences, strengths, and needs. Her work is grounded in a person-centered perspective where clients are respected as active collaborators in the therapeutic process. Ellie helps clients deepen their understanding of themselves while identifying practical steps toward meaningful change. When working with children, Ellie recognizes the important role parents and caregivers can have in the therapeutic process and tailors their involvement to the needs and goals of each child and family. She strives to create an environment where young clients can express themselves comfortably while families feel respected and supported throughout the therapeutic process. Outside of work, Ellie enjoys taking walks, reading, playing games, and spending time with her loved ones.
