George Gaither, Ph.D., HSPP

Dr. George Gaither is a Licensed Psychologist who served in the United States Army prior to attending college. He earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology and MA in Psychology from the University of North Dakota and completed his predoctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Since 2006, he has been an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at Ball State University. George combines his extensive clinical experience with a deep understanding of psychological principles to help individuals and couples navigate challenges, achieve personal goals, and cultivate a sense of peace and balance in their lives. His areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, sexuality, relationship and gender-related concerns, and life stage transitions.

He takes a collaborative approach with clients, tailoring strategies to meet each person’s unique needs while fostering insight, growth, and resilience. Outside of his professional work, George enjoys landscaping and gardening, spending time with his family, cheering on the Colts and Pacers, and exploring the world of Pokémon Go.
