Rachel earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University with an emphasis in Health Psychology. She has clinical experience in private practice, community mental health centers, medical clinics, and a Veterans Affairs Medical Center, providing a broad foundation in working with a range of psychological concerns across settings. Rachel has experience treating PTSD and trauma- and stressor-related disorders, chronic anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, depression, disordered eating, body image concerns, insomnia, OCD, and health-related issues.
She has a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing disordered eating and body image-related concerns and is certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma treatment. Rachel strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment to support meaningful change. She works with adolescents and adults and utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
